ok, sorry, Im here to do my ups and downs:

Up - Will's Vino - Felt this was a bit squashed up. It may have benefited from a different composition. Keep trying Will, u r improving.

Down - Alex's Medals - I liked the idea, just felt, as has already been said, a different display would have worked differently.

Mine - My great Niece Freya - she's an angel. This is exactly the shot I wanted ando once I had converted it to B&W, I was happy with it. Any tips re making this more professional would be much appreciated. I feel it should have been softer and more high key but not sure how to do the softer effect. The high key wasnt really possible without the lighting I needed. All I had was a wee window in my niece's home.

sorry...so late(!)

UP: caring hands, gentle feet. this was a lovely black and white shot, and a well-deserved winner. good job

DOWN: old and new communication. this got my vote, actually - i like the idea of combining shots to produce a completely new idea, and it's all so sharp(!). my composites never work, so i'm always impressed when i see a good one.

mine - thanks for feedback. it was a bit rushed due to exam panic, so didn't have tons of time to think properly about composition. am pleased the 'aging' effect worked on the old medal though
