Tools in elements

Hi,

Just started using elements and I can't get the tools to work when in the editing mode. I am probably missing something obvious, but have been trying forthe last couple of hours

Regards,

Andy

which version of elements do you have.
are you saying that if you select the crop tool you cannot drag the marquee across the image?

Unhappy Tools in elements

Sory for the delay I have just a family criss, I'm using elements 6 and I've come across the problem a couple of times, the full edit options are available but the cursor remains as the "hand" used for moving objects and will not let me select any tools

Hi
I sometimes have the same problem with Elements 6. I just save any work, close Elements and then restart, it is then ok for the rest of the session.
Good luck
