phase detection focus or contrast based
My main interest (when started) will be macro & wildlife mainly birds & birds in flight.
By no means an enthusiast but just someone wanting to take nice pics in good weather on my days of & hols.
For birds in flight I presume predictive autofocus is in use so would an eos 650d with phase detection focus be a better choice over a contrast based focus system such as on a 4/3 camera?
There are plenty of positive reviews for 4/3 cameras and their speedy contrast based focus method but little or nothing on how this focussing deals with moving subjects in any particular camera body.
