i know the exposure's a bit off, but it was sunny this afternoon and i couldn't seem to find the balance...

I don't think there's too much wrong with the exposure at all and certainly nothing that can't be sorted out very easily in PP , I think you've captured the scene beautifully but it might of been nice to see the top of the bridge just to add to the overall picture and feel of the scene .
