Well ended up getting the Sigma 10-20mm f4.5-5.6, the Tamron 18-270mm on the recommendation of my photography tutor and a Nikon 50mm f1.8 which I've already used to photograph some chairs and sofas for the company I work for's website. I also invested in a SB700 flashgun

That will do me for starters, but as time goes on I will look to both add and upgrade as funds allow. The only difficulty is that with so much choice it's a minefield trying to narrow down my options when choosing new lenses.

I also changed from Olympus to a Nikon D7000. Stating off with a new system is expensive so I opted for the nikon 16-85mm as a walk around lens and the Nikon 70-300mm for a tele. Uptill now I have been more than hapy withthe results from both lenses. I have stil to invest is a real wide angle lens but I fond 166mm wide enough for anything I've needed up till now.

I bought the 16-85mm myself recently. I've hardly had it off my D7000 since.
