The reason i asked the question was that in my own gallery i have 1 photo which when clicked on gives the exif data, the other 2 (although i put them in in exactly the same way) don't seem to show any info. I wondered if it was something i was doing, but i guess it's just the foibles of this site at the moment. Until it's completely sorted and proven then i will remain reluctant to post many images on her

Cheers, Sie
I downloaded one for the competition and can't see any exif which to me is a big problem when verifying when it was taken I have had so much problems trying to get this picture in the Comp. I feel like giving up. It looks like the next time I will have to go down the Flickr route which does not say much for this site.

Jim.

I can access the Exif in 2 of your images, but not the fly one. How you edit and save the image before uploading can affect whether the Exif remains intact - for example using Photoshop's save for web will strip all meta data out of an image, some other image editors may not save the Exif at all regardless of the method used for saving, and some cameras may also not embed Exif (I can't tell what camera was used for the fly shot, but you used a Canon for one of the others and a Panasonic for the other... and for the fly?).

You can see basic EXIF data depending on what broswer you use.

At home I use Opera which shows me the basic data (if it's there) when I right click on the picture and choose properties. However, Internet Explorer doesn't do this.
It's possible that this will also work with broswers like Chrome and Firefox but I don't know for sure.

Of course, if the EXIF data has been stripped from the image you won't get any at all.

Underwear info is less boring - even the plain virginal white variety.

But none the less another helpful link for those really requiring this "exceedingly boring" Exif info.
