fast CF memory cards

Hi,
looking for a fast memory card fo my canon 7d.
I was looking for a 32gb card, and require fast speed for sports photography and sometimes long bursts of exposure rate.
Anybody have good or bad reviews?
Thanks in advance..

You can't go wrong with SanDisk Extreme Pro. They're quite expensive (Amazon do the 32GB for around £75), but it's not the sort of thing you should scrimp on.

+1 Although if amazon are selling them at £75 snap it up before there out of stock. The pro 32gb ones are £150+ everywhere else.

I use a Transcend 32Gb 400x, I've found this to be more that adequate for photographing high speed jets such as the Typoons and Tornado's. As for long bursts of exposure rate, this to a large extent is down to the camera, but again I found the 400x transcend to be very good.

Don't forget Canon will be releasing a new firmware for the 7D on the 7 August which will increase the continuous-shooting buffer depth to 25 Raws, up from the original 15) plus customizable Auto ISO + a few other goodies.

Not sure exactly what burst speed you want.

I've just downloaded the 7D firmware update. a quick check of the burst speed using the aforementioned Transcend card resulted in 22 images in under 4 secs.

Sorry, but a little duff info above, have just removed my flash card from the PC and realised I'd used a Kingston 16Gb 266x card not the transcend.

I have always used the 8GB SanDisk extreme cards and never had an issue.
