I feel the whole reason behind the monthly comp is being missed.....it a new skills and technique. was to learn and practice but alas as you say its lacking in interes. Then again so is the weekly one.

Chris, I know what it is for and I agree that is the whole reason behind the competition, learning new skills, let's be fair the competitions on here of late are showing a little sign of apathy be it the weekly or monthly comps.

Maybe it is the time of year with people on holiday etc and the loss of quite a few regulars in the last 6 months.

I must admit I am entering these comps just to keep the numbers up but not sure how long that will carry on for.

I know that myself and others do comps on other forums and just wonder if this is a cause of small entries although we had had some new faces over the past months.

Anyway, had my say, sure there are others with different views on this subject so I'm off to think of a new topic for the July monthly and lets hope we get more than 3 entries.

I have not been hear long but it am very happy that I have stumbled upon these comps. I look forwards to it all.

Anyhow.

Up - Mini Car Park
Good picture, got my vote as it seemed a more likely scene to be in diy model form than the other and the angle seems perfect for the technique. My only advice (unexperienced as I am with T&S) is more an opinion which maybe fewer cars would have looked better.

Down - Mini Playground
Again good picture. Strong unnatural colours. Maybe a higher angle would push it just a little further?
