First attempt at this sort of effect. I have some issues with it. But not bad for a first attempt I reckon

Well done for trying out a new technique it really does give a very interesting finish .
As you say there are a couple of issues that need working on , the main one that jumps out at me is the shadowing around the fingers which doesn't look very natural at the mo .

Good first effort , keep at it .
