Photoshop Elements 9

Yesterday, I shoot portraits of friends. And I want to "edit" in elements 9. Please help me "edit" the pics in elements 9, this is the version that's in my computer; or pls point me a simple, easy to follow basic editing techniques for portraiture. Any help is very much appreciated. Again, thank you so much.

I am a weekend photographer, w/ a very tight budget.

Your question certainly has an answer, mangproc........ but it would require a few books to get every possible kind of edit.

Simple tutorials are online........ check out websites like Elements Village and otherwise Google for 'portrait photo editing'. It's also time to invest in a good book - and I'd recommend 'Photoshop Elements 9 for Digital Photgraphers' by Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski. e.g. on Amazon.

wave01 is right - show us what you have and tell us what you want to do........ but, in the end, you're going to have to learn the tools of Elements (from a book or online tutorials) before you can use them.

To put it another way, let's say you'd asked, 'How do I make bookshelves?'.... if you didn't know what tools you had, or how they worked - screwdriver, plane, saw etc - any instructions we gave would be meaningless. So if we start mentioning the various tools of Elements you probably wouldn't know how they worked either.

Elements has a guided mode you could use to begin with. You could also read some magazines, buy a book or check websites like this one for tutorials. 'Help me edit the pics' is quite a broad request.
