Question One of my Son

Here is a pic of my son from last year at the shore. This is when i was really trying with the M mode on my Canon Rebel Xs DSLR. I was using a 75mm-300mm lens.

I also got some pictures of the waves crashing against the rocks as well.

Not to keen on this shot compared with your previous two , it would of been nice to get some kind of eye contact to give a more personal feel and also the water droplets infront of his face act more as a distraction than anything else .

Thank you. This was one of my first attempts at all Manual mode. I liked it because i captured the water drops pretty clearly, with no tripod, and with out falling into the water.

I do agree that the drops in front of his face do distract from him. But a 4year boy in the ocean havinga great time is very difficult to get that perfect shot.
