* When choosing a memory card I'd stick to the better known brands. Sandisk and Lexar both make excellent memory cards.
If you're shooting film you'll want something large like a 32GB or 64GB as film takes up a lot more space. If you're just shooting stills then a 16GB will be fine.
The jump in price from the Sandisk 30mb/s to 45mb/s has a big impact. The one that Dave linked above is a great deal. If that's still out of your price range and you're willing to sacrifice some speed then these 30mb/s cards are also a good deal.

If you're shooting a lot action photography or film I’d go for a faster memory card as you'll be frustrated if it's too slow to keep up with you.
