I would personally go with larger prints and fewer, the old adage quality not quantity. I prefer seeing larger prints to say 10x8s especially if there's plenty of detail like your recent ones posted on here for example. A lot of smaller prints can become fairly monotonous and look cluttered, anyway can't you use the web that for that? This is an exhibition after all, a time to show off your work in all its glory. What do your fellow photographers/exhibitors have to say, have they done it before?

Okay I concede Loxley Colour are fairly expensive but I think you'll only save about £40 of the printing costs on 6 A3 prints, is this a huge amount in the scheme of things? Yes you can buy cheaper but are they as good, who knows, I certainly don't?

And I'm also sticking with A3 (or 11" x 14") being the smallest you want - and if that means only six prints, so be it. A4 prints don't just say 'amateur', they say 'not really trying'.

As I've already mentioned I've got 2 x square prints, 2 x landscape prints and another in portait orientation. I was planning 16" x 16" for the square images and 24" x 16" for the others. Does that sound alright or too large?

I think that sounds all right. 24"x16" prints should be fine as you say your space is 2 metres (6 1/2 feet) wide didn't you? Your 2 landscape prints being the widest especially if they are hung next to one another. I was just using A3 as an example.

Yes, I was also using A3 as an example - it's not so much the shape as the area. 16" x 16" and 24" x 16" should be impressive.

Might be a good idea to visit a couple of exhibitions to see what or how they are set up.

Yes I'm in the process of doing a lot of homework including what you've suggested, Alan.
