I'm with Dave on this, macro, but shooting bugs is what I love, but I always take my long lens with me for my other love which is aircraft.
Fortunately for me I can combine the two as the nature reserve I use for bugs is also a bombing range for the Airforce.

I was able to take an amusing photo there last year of a Chinook which was using lasers, or something similar. The crew waved to me several times and took me completely by suprise and flew towards me. I'd taken several photos of the Chinook exposures where perfect, so expected the same as it flew towards me. What I didn't realise is that they would fire the "Lasers" at me which affected the exposure. so sorry for the poor quality of the attached photo.

Right..... but they're not 'lasers'....... they're decoys against attack by missiles that are heat-seeking and/or InfraRed-seeking. Given the 'choice', a missiles guidance will lock onto the heat or the infra-red - and not on the helicopter.

Photographing animals has always been my passion (it's what I love doing the most in photography!!). I also enjoy getting to be creative in-camera with macro.

Through travelling I got into photography and caught the photo bug, so always enjoy visiting different for new inspiration.

I don't know its hard to say. I like it all.

It would have to come down to either the challenge of making an idea into a finished shot or playing with photoshop.

I love Automotive photography and Portriats and getting creative with off camera flash can always create some awesome images but then again i do love a good bit of landscape photography stomping through fields to get that photo

One of my favorite weather photographs is storm structure. Sometimes, the structure of a supercell thunderstorm can be mind-boggling and quite breathtaking. From the appearance of a barber pole spiraling into the atmosphere to the look of a craft from outer space, a supercell is definitely the most interesting storm to shoot. These storms can be quite violent; and precaution must be taken, so you do not put yourself in extreme danger.

The peace and quiet I get when I go out to take photos, I find it really relaxing. I have not been doing it long and am really loving the learning process also. I must have been quite niaeve before as I thought it would be quite easy, but loved the fact I am proved wrong, trying to get the correct settings for each picture type in any given situation is great.

My photo interest is Landscape and Macro (little and large).

I have a personal challenge to take a great photo of a waterfall (with milky water) to replace the shop bought one that I have hanging above my mantle at home. Problem is I live in a big City (Hull) and don't know where the nearest good one to photgraph will be. Any ideas??
