Pentax I-USB17 (for OptioT10)

Hello All,

Just googled the above for use with an Optio T10 aqquired in the U.K.

I don't mind if I end up with a third party cable; but some sellers advertise it as a mini 4-pin and others as a mini 8-pin, which concerns me a bit.

Pentax don't appear to publish spec's detailing the camera port type or the cable itself.

Can anyone please confirm which plug should be attatched to I-USB17?

It's certainly an I-17 cable you want........ and I'd suggest it's four pin........... I found this link. It gives what can only be a 'model number' as... USB Cable I-USB17 (39233). That's a US site which may not be much help, but if you find the cable in the UK and check that is has that model number you should be ok.

Alternatively you may find somebody on the Pentax UK Forum that can advise.
