Congrats to Pea24 and clickin girl on your joint win!
My vote went to pea24 and my runner up was clickin girl.
I thought they were both great entries.

I didn't deserve a vote. Mine was just a snapshot really. I was too busy this weekend and the weather didn't help.

Up Hill walk by orgi1st
Great leading line through the field. The sky is dramatic, but a little overexposed.

Down Mountains of cloud by pea24
Stunning capture and composition. The white fluffy clouds are captured beautifully.
Would make a great postcard.
Got my vote!!

Well done clickingirl and Pea24 for a most excellent and deserved joint win. My vote went to clickingirl as I loved the colours and cloud formations.

I really loved Pea24's shot but to me it just had a bit too much landscape in it so didn't feel as on theme as the other entries (sorry Dave) but still a superb shot and maybe I am just being a picky miserable git

Thank you to Pea24 and markgozz for my lovely votes it is much appreciated.

Up - Bendall Heavenly

Another great entry and a great take on the theme very nicely done and a great shot, thought the landscape was nicely cropped to put plenty of emphasis on the clouds. In all a very nice entry.

Down - Wotcars Sky II

Very nicely done, great colours and lovely clouds, I think the white border worked really well it very nearly got my vote another great entry. The shots you took on monday were stunning BTW.

Not sure if I will enter the next one as I am supposed to be taking a break but I might just be tempted if I have time that is

I voted for Pea24. I loved all the bubbly white clouds and I think the buildings in front gave scale to how big the clouds actually were!

UP: Clouds Over Ferrybridge by hssutton. Nice rich colors and overall a good cloudscape example. Great pic!

Down: Cloud Burst by DD. Good representation of a cloudscape as well. Would have liked to have seen a little more of the clouds though!

Thanks for all your votes guys; I was really pleased with the shot so I'm glad you were too - that panoramic month has come in handy :-)

Above: TwinnieE - Perfect Day
I know you think it was a bit of a snap but it's well taken, Well exposed and the extra touch of the plane trail added interest. I like the slight flares from the sun behind the cloud as well.

Below: highlandscenics - Silky Sky
Really interesting abstract in black and white. I don't think it scored as highly as the more dramatic sky shots but you've got to work with the weather you've got and I think you did well to bring out the swirls and textures in the sky. This would be a great texture to lay over another image.

My vote went to wavemachine's Somethings Brewing. The height of those clouds (against the houses) and the way you brought out the whites against the sinister greys is beautiful. I thought it was very dramatic and the monotone worked well.

Great theme and lots of great entries. I think everyone did amazingly well as most of the weekend, certainly in my neck of the woods, was grey.

Up - Red sky in morn - Unusual colour sky and lots of effort to get this picture, I'm lazy and get sunsets rather than sun rises!

Down - Some things brewing - Another great shot - liked the composition and the interesting clouds. I found the picture very grey.

I voted for Sky II as it was really unusual I liked the orange colours at the bottom. right through to the blues at the top - Really great shot.

I admit mine was not that good, but the weather did not cooperate with me and that was all I could get.

Up - Cloud Burst - nice clouds, it looks like some blown highlights

Down - Heavenly - it looks dark and sad. I do like how the church is included in the photo.

I voted for the Storm on the Plains

Cheers Pea24........It was more of a case of working with the lack of sleep and excesses from the night before, than the weather....lol!..

There wasn't much happening skywards, mainly feathery and flat, well you can see that from my shot. It was taken in the evening between unpacking and ordering a Chinese...
Converted it to black and white to try and add some form of interest.

Alas I was at a dilemma when it came to the votes....I really loved Pea24's shot....perfect cloudscape.....but then, so was ClickinGirls', I loved the big, menacing storm approaching.
I literally tossed a coin to decide...bad I know, but I just couldn't seperate the two. In the end though, it was a joint win so I was mighty happy to see that!

Wavemachines shot came a very close 2nd in my vote casting, great dramatic sky.

It wasn't an easy theme and I thank you all for putting the effort in and pulling off some great shots!
