Ok, sorry for lateness, but here we are, up's down's etc (been MAD busy).....

Pedro's Image - I think that a close up of the back, living flower or the inside of the middle open one would have had more impact and attracted more votes. The flowers said more 'Spring Past' than 'Spring Floral'. Sorry Pedro. But welcome welcome welcome, great to seefresh new blood.

Down's - Pea's Image - Loved the way us used the Dof F and the colours were lovely. An excellent entry, well done.

Mine - All my planned outdoor shots went t*ts up. The snowdrops and crocuses in my local park had died off due to the weirdly warm few weeks. The daffodil shots I took didn't float my boat so it resulted in a staged indoor shot. However, I loved my image, and I want to thank Jerry WS and ogri1st for the votes and their appreciation of my entry.

Congrats to highlandscenics on your winning image.
Lovely take on the last two themes!
I voted for Pea24 - Face Up To The Sun
Super burst of colour and DOF. The lighting and focus are spot on. Met the brief perfectly, well done.

Up jet_kit - Snow Drop
Great POV and loved the water droplets, i feel a slight crop at the bottom would have helped
make the image stronger. OMP.

Down GUY1970 - Woodland Flora
Liked the composition and the shallow DOF. Not quite sharp enough for my vote.

Thanks for Cutter and Deena for my votes, much appreciated.

Sorry i forgot my ups and down comments i've been soooooooooo busy lately!! so here you go........

Above HSSUTTON

Really pretty flower and a very clear shot, the only thing i feel is that perhaps the lighting is a little too hard, like where it shines a bit much on the top leaf and kind of goes right through the petals.

Below Cathus
I can see no problems with this photo it's a very good macro shot which does fit the theme!

However i decided to vote for Kerbside because I really like the way the background colour works in harmony with the flowers you chose and it has a warm feel to it, I'm not keen on the bugs but my overall opinion is that i like it!
