Cheers DD. Yeah I suppose it is a bit. I just wanted to get folks to do something a bit different. I am fascinated by the sky.

As photographers, we are all looking at things from the horizon down, but rarely up...thought it would make a nice change and stretch our "legs" photographically.

I'm in Edinburgh most of the weekend so entering for me is doubtful, but if I get a lucky break, I'll have a bash.....I'm looking forward to entries...

Fingers crossed!...I love big storm clouds, we get some cracking big, black menacing ones over here in the Highlands....but I bet over in the States you get even better ones especially during electrical storms....

We don't get many big thunderstorms anymore....much to my wifes' relief as she hates it when I go outside to watch.....

There were tornado warnings in south western Ontario tonight. Funnel clouds are good?

There was dense fog again here yesterday, which lifted at lunchtime to reveal a pale blue sky. Last week however, I managed to shoot a sunrise through dense fog, which came out rather well, because of the colour of the sky and the sun had a thin mist veil, making it look like a different planet.

Grey again today, but as I am working on a project in a tunnel this morning, I won't even see the sky.

Looking forward to seeing the entries! Especially the angry skies from places that get angry skies at this time of year!

I don't see why not . It's been grey and misty on the East Coast of LIncolnshire all week.

I guess I could just take a photo of a grey card, save me going out.

On the off chance that the skies do change from solid grey, I have my IR camera batteries charged up ready to go.

Although I do recommend deep heat, just make sure you wash your hands before scratching any tender/sensitive parts of the human physique.....
