Links?

Just curious. What are these links at the top of the forums supposed to be for?

they just seem to take you to the relevent forum for the magazines which are all on the DCW site.

The odd one out is the Practical Photoshop link which take you to the magazine homepage other than that they serve no real purpose.

I personally think that this site would have been better being redesigned from the ground up rather than being migrated over

I say they should take you to the magazine sites, each has their own.

Exactly my thoughts.

What I find really strange is, this site appears to be the forums for all those different magazine sites, but what they seem to have forgotten to do, (and this is a biggy) is add links back or to the actual sites that bring you here in the first place..

Unless I'm missing something, (a brain perhaps).

They should have used the forums that they had installed on each of those sites before they turned them off. Would have been much better IMO.

I noted this a while back in this thread.

Not only is there no obvious way back to NPhoto and PhotoPlus, it's not obvious that you're in a small area of a bigger forum, and all sorts of stuff that has no relevance to the magazine gets posted in there instead of where it - from the POV of the DCW forum headings - belongs.

It's a mess, and getting no better.

Chris
