Nice contrasty shot with a great angle. I think it's already been mentioned about the bottom right-hand-side - I think I would have tried 'white'ing it out (in contrast to the shadow above). Nice entry though.

Really nice shot with the beautiful cloud sitting low in the shot, the rolling hills, the strong verticals and the parallel wires. Great stuff. I also appreciate the care you've taken to get good symmetry in the corners.

hedgehog, I seem to remember you had another 'railings' shot in your flickr stream (a high-key one)... I reckon that was the one to enter - I loved it! ;-)
I have a thing about symmetry, its a bit of an OCD I have.....

Congratulations Kerbside on your win!..........Sorry I'm late laddies and lassies.....I have just got over the Winter vomiting bug for the second time this year....I still went to work yesterday, but it was to my downfall. I never learn, got to my first job, 70 miles away....half way back I took a turn for the worse.....I had to admit defeat and phone my boss to say I would have to go home....I was flat on my back the rest of the day with a fever......Today I had my first meal in 36hrs....but now I have busted the muscles in my neck........just my luck!!

What did you do to bust your neck muscles? Too thick a pillow?
Well, anyway, get well soon!
