A Self Portrait

Having a bit of fun with two off camera flashes. Gets a bit claustrophobic in there though lol

I love this kinda thing very much. Self portraits are hard enough to do without props and lighting! hats off (well gas masks off) to you.

Have you seen Luca Pierro's stuff on here, on flickr and on his website? he has inspired me a lot for my college course.

Excellent!

Worth getting a bit of claustrophobia (actually, worth getting a lot! )

Love it, Aaron :-)

Really creative, great lighting and effects, and love the mask!

Thanks for all the positive comments guys!

I had fun shooting and editing it and am glad you enjoyed the results. I have something similar in mind, which I hope to do this weekend, provided all goes to plan! (so that's just hexed it right there lol)

Chris, the name rings a bell. Is it the guy who wraps his model's faces up in bandages and leaves the eye showing, etc? If so then yes, I have seen some of his work on the POTD here and think he is excellent at what he does!

Yes, thats the guy. The models are usually himself. Im very into his stuff but sadly that kind of thing has limited appeal.

Last time I saw something like that it was in a porn film!

Might have started a new trend.
