Using a higher capacity memory card almost always increases the number of shots you can take.

Getting expensive gear automatically ensures you will always take better shots

A 70-200mm lens has more zoom than your 18-55mm.

Does anyone know where I can buy black & white memory cards from? I am so bored with colour.

You don't need a B&W memory card. Just take a tin opener to the back of your camera shake all the colour bits out.

To ensure a super sharp photo, use a tripod as well as VR. Should your manual inform you that you should not use both together, it is permissible to hand-hold the tripod.

When using a monopod, having two legs less than a tripod, turn the VR on at half-speed.

If you want to put an ND filter on your lens for landscape shots, do.
If you don't want to put an ND filter on your lens for landscape shots, don't.
