Sorry mate.
I've given up with you. We are trying our best to help you, but you will not be helped. I've had enough. I'm out.

So try the writing in a glossy magazine - much sharper and will make the test work.

(Sorry, I've seen this thread rattle on for what seems months now and didn't want to prolong it further, but it has to be said).

(Just checked and it really is months! Started 3 Sept 2011!)

That was suggested as well. It was also stated that it was the method, not the content that was the most important. The focus test could work fine for the purpose.

Think everyone has lost interest in this thread as he obiously doesn't listen to what people are telling him so I would let him get on with it and let the thread die

The patients shown by everyone on this thread is truly amazing and I take my hat off to you all , I wish I had a fraction of your patients and will power in trying to help this person but I have to say that after 113 post's of hitting your head against a brick wall it has now become a case of a complete p**s take of the biggest scale .

If anyone ever questions the integrity and helpfulness of the members of this site they should read this thread and be reassured in the knowledge that if they needed help then there are people here that will bend over backwards to aid them .

Well done to you all .

Mark

I emailed Sigma about lens one week ago. They asked me to send them some sample JPEGs off, so that they can send them to Japan. I'll have to email them by the end of the week if I don't receive a reply.
