Mag price & Delivery to Australia

I just thought I'd let you know that I've just picked up my September edition of Photo Plus - Today's date is 17 November Why do we have to wait approx 2 months for delivery and be expected to pay $14 (GBP7.83) for the privilege !
Surely in today's shrinking world we shouldn't be expected to put up with shoddy service like this ?

Do we have any other dissatisfied Aussie readers our there ?

It is not just Photo Plus, it seems to be all of Future Publication's that have a problem getting to Australia. There have been many complaints over in the Linux Format forums as well. It does not seem to change much with a subscription either, there are still huge delays. I really think Future needs to change whomever they use to distribute the magazines in Australia. However, there is not much the editorial and writing staff can do except complain to their higher ups for you.

On a side note, they seem to have no problem getting to Canada where I am.

I am a subscriber, but it is $15.95 at the newsstand. They probably arrive here though the US.

It takes 4 to 6 weeks for British photography magazines I watch (Digital Camera, PhotoPlus, Practical Photography, Digital SLR User, ...) to reach the bookstores in the US. It is not just Future, I think they are shipped by boat because of the weight and that takes time. My Digital Camera and PhotoPlus subscriptions are mailed first class from GB and I get them about a week after they hit the GB newsstands.
