Above- Wiggwigg2010 shot. Nice texture in the tree. Nice image with good detail.

I did not have a below but I did want to say that Sophie came in a close 2nd on my vote! Beautiful little girl and I am absolutely a sucker when it comes to children!

I think all the photos in this entry were very good and it was very hard for me to choose so great job to everyone!! Headed over to post a subject this weekend!
Your below, when last, is the 1st image (for future reference) if that makes sense lol..The 1st image will do the last image as their above!!!

Well done Clickin girl. I voted for this one too. Great detail in the snowflake and nice composition.

Up - The Stove
I really liked this shot as far as subject matter and framing, but wasn't keen on the processing.

Down - Tree in the park
I think perhaps the composition isn't quite right. Too much snow at the bottom in my opinion - or you could have walked in it and put a leading line of footprints up to the tree. For my taste too I might have considered upping the contrast.

Thank you for your votes guys.

congrats on your win clicking girl
my ups and downs
ups- angry sky- like this 1 it was a tough call, the way the rays come through the clouds it looks asif the angry sky is loosing the battle
downs-word- hit the nail on the head with the theme and i dont suppose there would be any kind of improvement you could make to the picture as you blurred the rest of the words

my vote went to clickin girl others i liked were abbey gateway to south wales(although it should have been comin out of wales no offence lol) and angry sky

Sorry, just realised I hadn't done any ups/downs

Above: Tree in the Park
I like this shot as an idea but I think to work really well the main tree needed to be singled out more (i.e. a more isolated tree). I doubt it was possible and you worked with what you had. I do like the pale section at the bottom. Maybe a border would have added an extra element and pulled the shot together.

Below: Love
A really nicely lit shot and I love the triangular window at the back which frames the whole thing.
