Thanks Mark! I agree that being shortlisted is a reward in itself, especially as it is a nationwide competition, and not just for my college, as I thought.

It was wriiten with tongue firmly in cheek; had I known they would focus on adversity, I might not have entered, or I might have written something a lot more serious. (And probably not got anywhere!)
