We all have to do that Ariana! My photographic equipment consists of a bridge camera, a light tent and a tri- and monopod, which I hardly ever use! (Hate using them, I shoot virtually everything hand held.)

What i was thinking about was a lack of macro lens - but i managed without it (just about )

That's the way to do it! 'Just about managing it,' is probably more satisfying, than being able to go out and get every available lens that money can buy.

My bridge has a 'close up' setting, which is 'macro like,' but nothing compared nto the big boys, with their big guns. I'll never be able to photograph an insect's eyes, but so what, I'll do something else in stead.

i have a cunning plan...can anyone explain to me how to put my pics on here this new camera is doing my head in when im trying to post pictures i need to get them small enough but the camera has different settings ranging from raw, raw+L, L, M, and s do i still need to crop s size for them to be small enough to get on here??????????? its been a while

Andy, can't you resize them on your pc? I tend to go for pictures of about 1000 pixels at the longest side, and resize using my software.

I'm sorry I can't help you any further as my camera can't do RAW, so my photographic life is relatively simple.
