I mean I need one, it would give lots of opportunity. I have faked it though this:

was done with my 55-250 mm lens.

Thanks for all your support Reinardina.

Cathus, great to see you're still going strong and seem to be enjoying it as much as me

Donero glad to see you are still going strong. Great shot of the crayons, I have the EF 100 mm canon macro lens and have to say it is a great lens, it is used a great deal and well worth the investment so when you can sensibly afford one get a decent macro lens you won't be dissapointed

I have ordered some close up filters to try out for now. I can spend $40 safely but not 10x that for a macro.

I've been meaning to do a 365/6 project for ages now and haven't quite achieved it yet! One day...

Also interested to know; how many of you use Flickr and how active are you on there?

I joined Flckr a few years ago but don;t really like the layout and style so I never used it until just a few weeks ago when I uploaded some shots and am now using it to upload my 366 project shots to, as to how involved I am on it, I'm not really, mainly because I don't really understand how it all works yet.

You could try Flickr using the Fluidr interface. I know Chris P likes that. I use Lightroom so I can add the title, description, keywords (which I am bad on) all right on the photoset in LR before I upload. I can create new photosets from there as well. I do not need to go onto Flickr go get the photos there.

yes, quoting myself :

3 years without missing a day.

This is meant as encouragement to carry on by the way, not a "look at my mate" post. I hope it is taken the right way.

Good luck.
