Hi samcliffe and welcome.

Just to be picky as usual, : should this topic be named ,

How to upload a photo to the Digital Camera World Gallery

instead of

How to upload a photo to the Digital Camera World forum

Any ideas why the user albums are configured this way, it's still going to get very messy if people forget to un-check those boxes when creating a category, they should be un-checked by default IMO. Also once you've created a category you lose control of it and can't edit it, as far as I can see. (Edit: I found the edit category link afer all)

Quite agree. Why make it easy when you can make it as complicated as possible.

Take a page from Apple: give the user as few options as possible, That way it "just works"

To be honest I'd have thought they would have used the full blown version of PhotoPost Pro, rather than the cut down lesser featured version of PhotoPost vBgallery which is installed at the moment.

Been testing the demo on the photopost site, and have to say it works pretty well when set up properly.

How does one delete a album (category) ? Seems you lose control of it once created, and can only edit it.

haha, not any more. I noticed them messing with the config settings, and now there's a remove link for each category.

Now wondering what happens to all the pics from other people uploaded to my cat, if I remove it.
