Oh thank god for that I thought it was just me being thick and not being able to read it properly .

It seems that there is a lot of info that to me doesn't mean anything and the bits that I want to know are not laid out very well at all ( lots of fractions ) .

Mark

Not sure what can be done about it but there's obviously a CSS page that should open at the same time as the main html page..... but doesn't. So I get the unformatted home page, looking like it was put together in HTML1.0, until I click on Forum, or another link, and then the CSS kicks in. On the bright side, it's much faster loading than before and I'm not hanging arouind waiting for some advertising space to be filled by a third party.

Thanks, I just did look.

If Imagemagick will show the information better, then I will look into swapping from GD2 to Imagemagick.

Reading fractions isn't the easiest thing to do

It's not just fractions, though, is it? Some images have two values for resolution, 240 and 72things per inch, for instance. I'd suggest that both are irrelevant.

Just a couple of suggestions but, as a viewer, it would be great to be able to see whether forum members and those posting replies are professionals or amateur photographers at a quick glance so you can see which perspective their comment comes from.

It would also be great on the website to see a list of trusted suppliers of equipment as used and recommended by the moderators and senior members as I have recently found some prices on Amazon for filters at a third of the price of Jessops and Jacobs but I don't want to purchase a non-original part or a second.

Thanks, Mark

I'd be quite happy to have Amateur at the side of my name, it would beat " senior member" which makes me feel old! :-)
