Red face

For some reason they prefer to give the time when I used the software rather than the time the picture was taken??

Since I have been on the new site I have a annoying McAfee empty DOS box opening up and closing.

Jim.

OK thanks, think I can get there now.

so I upload my shots into the 'members categories' and that creates a folder under my name?

what are the sub categories 'Out & About' 'Closeup/macro', 'Sunsets' & 'Miscellaneous - seems a bit random?

I have McAfee but don't get that error?

Have a look in your Event Viewer and see what message it produces. Click Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools and click on Event Viewer.

General photos, and Christmas album are public albums, anyone can post to them. The other albums are albums set up by members in their user galleries.

Click the "My Stuff" link, and then Category admin. You can set up albums for your user gallery there.

Site Advisor isn't on AOL but does appear in IE which, has been taken over by AOL on my PC. My guess is, it has been checked by McAfee, but because the site hasn't gone live in it's finished state, it's still waiting final review.

Exif at bottom of page?

Think I've more or less worked out how the Galleries work, but ... I would prefer to see the images with their descriptions and comments (now called replies) together, and the technical stuff at the bottom of the page.

I am always more interested in the picture itself and any comments, than the exif data.

Hi Folks,

For technical reasons I won't bore you with, the galleries got added in a bit of a rush as we were very concious we'd promised to get things changed!

As result, some things are perhaps not as obvious as they might be.

We'll get that changed, and would welcome any suggestions.

Stuart
