Waterfall photo, Feed back please!

looking for some feed back on this waterfall photo, (now i know that some folk like the silky water effect and others don't but this is what i was going for with this one) what could i have done to improve composition, is the colour ok, etc. also it was taken on a bridge camera, a Fuji HS10.

it's in my flickr photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/wullier...n/photostream/

i like the motion blur effect but i think there is too much going on in this shot maybe if you took 1 of the waterfall its self and 1 of the flow through the rocks it would look better imo

It's nice to see that you've tried a slightly different angle to your shot with this very low angle approach but I don't think there is quite enough interest in the foreground to pull it off . May be if you pulled back or shot from a slightly higher point you would be able to see more of the water way between the falls and the foreground and this would tie the two sections of your image together better .
The only other point that I have is that you have a bit of a colour cast which would be easily fixed in PP .

Don't get me wrong it's a very nice shot but I think it could be better .

Mark

I agree Andy, and where have you been lately Andy? Its an odd angle and might have been better more face on with the waterfall.

I'm not too keen on long exposures of moving water, but this is just right for me. I really like the perspective and framing of this shot. It looks like the dof favours the foreground, so how would it look if you were to throw the background out of focus?
