Smile nd grads, but which lens !!!

hi all, im thinking about getting some hitech nd grads but im a little unsure which lens i should fit them to, i have a canon 50 mm 1.8mm + canon 28-90mm + canon 18+200mm + sigma 18+125mm + i currently dont own a wide angle lens at the moment so what would be the best lens to use with these grads, any help would be great, many thanks john.

That all depends on the situation. Use whatever lens you want/need to use to get the photo you want. Same rules apply with ND grads or without in regards to the lens. There is a tutorial, or two, on here about using filters. there is one to the right of this box as I type, in fact.

You can use them on al the lenses, you just need an adapter ring for each different filter thread size on your lenses.

Hi John,
You say you're buying Hitech, so I'm guessing you are going for the square format. This will give you maximum flexibility.
So, all you need is a single filter holder and adaptors for each filter thread on all your lenses. These are pretty cheap and once you've bought them the whole exciting (expensive?) world of filters is opened up to you.
