Well done Deena a very convincing win.

Many thanks to cariadx, deena, highlandscenics, pea24, Semaj, TwinnieE, wodm for voting for my shot.

I voted for Matthews lamp, I liked the shot, it was bang on them, loved the dust and cobwebs but most importantly I could relate to it as my father has a really old lamp he still uses when doing DIY and mechnical work

Up - Deena - Old Classics

Lovely shot, great lighting, lovely texture, and protrayed old very well I have nothing to suggest pretty much perfect but as above Matthews entry just had that extra something for me personally otherwise it would have had my vote and definately deserved all the votes it got.

Below - DigiDiva The Old Oak Tree

Really nice idea and not much wrong with it as a shot but I am afraid whilst I see the relationship it didn't say old to me (sorry) one suggestion though is I found the branches lying on the ground slightly destracting so it would have been worth moving them if possible. A nice autumn shot though.

Looking forward to the next them and some great entries once again this week.

Congrats Deena on a fine win. Got my vote. I struggled with 'old' as my mum who I wanted to photo was abroad and I was terribly distracted with autumn photos.

Ups - Dave's (Wavemachine's) 'Old But Loved' - Have you been reading your photo magazines...lol..read about this on holiday, an old Teddy. Lovely shot just felt it lacked more atmosphere. Sorry.

Downs - Jim's (Semaj's) 'Old Pump House' - Bang on theme and, like mine, a lovely Autumn picture. Nice leading lines and texture with the litchen (or is it lichen?) on the trees.

Dave - Thanks for the comments. The 'old' was because that tree, I believe, is a couple of hundred years old or so I was told. I need to be more imaginative. Sorry.

Above: Old 45's
I really liked the feel of this shot. Great colours and focus on the 45. Not sure what else it needed to make it a winner but it did unfortunately get pipped out of my top spot.

Below: Old postcards
Nice subject and a very clean, well lit shot. I think it needed something extra in either the composition or the background to give it some context.

My vote went to Old But Loved; a really delicately lit shot with great subject matter. Old Classics was hot on it's heels for my vote - great win. Also loved the shimmer in the bokeh in Old Gentleman Jack and friends.

Thanks for your vote Reinardina :-)

Congrats on your win Deena, super shot and lighting, you were my second choice.
I voted for Old but loved by Wavemachine.
Lovely shot Dave, love the expression on his face and the tone.
I just love teddy bears pics, I'm a girl!

Up
Old Pump House by Semaj
Great compositions and Autumnal colours. But not quite interesting enough for me!

Down
Best before: today by pea24
Lovely low POV and I liked the water droplets on the grass.
Well spotted and taken.

Thank you for all your lovely comments above and thank you to everyone that voted for me...really chuffed

Above
'Old Cathedral in a New Light' by jimmyosram. Beautiful photo. I also saw a video that you posted. Really amazing light show. A clever interpretation of the theme.

Below
'Old but Loved' by wavemachine. This one got my vote. I loved the lighting, colour and vignetting and of course the subject. Poor old teddy sitting on his own. I wanted to pick him up and give him a hug! A definite winner in my eyes.

My other favourites were pea24's 'Best before: today' and TwinnieE's 'Old 45's' (that one took me back!)

Thank you for all your great entries. I'll be posting the new theme soon.

DD - that tree looks amazing. I noticed that it's in a graveyard. I might be tempted to go back and get the tree as a main focal point with the head stones and convert to a moody black and white. Especially if you've got a good cloudy sky too.

I wanted to capture the vibrant Aumumnal colours. Did try a B&W conversion but it looked dreary when I was feeling colourful (can someone feel colourful, lol)
