I have been editing my 1st proper 60D photo shoot. I LOVE IT! I can't believe the ISO I can go up to when the sun goes behind a cloud yet still get a sharp pic on a long lens! I have at last picked up on what it means by focal length and all the jazz about the shutter speed required on a longer lens. Some are still pants but others I love.

I spent 2 and a half hours in the local cemetary in bright, autumn early morning sunshine catchiing the rays, the colours, the ambiance. Even had a friendly squirrel come up for a look at my camera!

Will post some of the images up. I have one that would have fit the brief perfectly, but it was taken before the theme was announced and as Reinardina kindly pointed out, I can't use it, but, I might go back on Saturday to the same spot, but you can bet your bottom dollar the light will be rubbish..lol

It's the Durham Lumiere Festival this weekend. They basically light up various landmarks with coloured lights or as in this case, projected images. It's very cool.

This is Durham Cathedral.
