Ah yes, Paul! Very good point. I know several Actions I've used in PSE (but written in CS, of course) that make use of various features that are "CS-only" and run quite happily in both programs.

I would like to thank Marcus] for his post earlier in this thread for his solution to the lasso tool problem. I too have been struggling with this problem for weeks and thanks to your suggestion the problem has now gone. I had the problem with the polygonal lasso tool originally on Photoshop 7 running Windows XP. I then bought Photoshop Elements 9 thinking all my problems would be solved and updated to windows 7 and the same problem was still there ! I started blaming my graphics card so I installed Photoshop on my laptop which is also running Windows 7 and with a much better cpu and memory than my desktop pc and the problem was still there ! You would think by now that Adobe would have sorted out all these problems, god knows what Elements 10 is like ! Thanks again Marcus.
