Market Town : David and Eugene

“One of the strangest things,” he told me, “is waking up from a dream. In dreams I can still see. I can see everything. I wake … and feel I can still see for a time, then the black seeps in and I realise I am awake and in darkness again, where the reality used to be filled with sight, now my dreams are.

Where sleep was without light, now that’s my waking life. Everything is upside down. Now being awake is like the dream. My awake nightmare”

This one says a lot to me about these people and the situation. You are right to do these in B&W , much more reflective of the place/people than the colour one you did of David on his own.

Thanks.

I agree RE colour too... I use the D200 for B&W mostly as it's colour work is just plain awful, as it's it's handling of low light situations...

Bout 2 First round and a one punch TKO... Saw David today and set his mind at ease RE the guide dog. All systems go!!! Now waiting for further news from the Guide dog folks : )

Side note... does anyone know of a way to link or embed a voice recorder to a web site or page?... what I'd like to do is rather than read the comments that David receives is to enable people to actually leave their own spoken word comments so I can then make a MP3 and play them back... it's something I think would really lift his spirits so any advice = very cool!
