has anyone done or looked into doing the ideal home show? i'm curious as to if it would work or not but I never seem to see any photographers at these shows....

Has anyone given it a go or know someone that has?

thanks in advance

Hi Tuckerg, welcome to the forum

That sort of show is on private property and it's common (although I've not tried at the IHS specifically) that the organisers don't allow "commercial" photography. It's almost impossible to prove if you're shooting commercially (or not, in fact) so they may take a dim view of it.

I would suggest you contact the event organisers as it certainly would make for a good location.

I used to be on the team that ran it. There will be no problem you taking photos but as for their own photographers, they still use the same ones as i used to book. They are pretty good too. As for not seeing them, they are there very early so that they can get clear photos and a few of the awating public first thing.

What do you mean by giving it a go??
