Love the sky movement and infrared. I am assuming its infrared :-)

Like it! Converted camera I'm guessing??

Actually, scratch that, it may not be, given the long exposure! What time of year was this taken?

I use the Hoya R72 (so 720nm) and your pic is much more dramatic on the white foliage - mines tend to be "greyer." I also suffer from a hotspot at some points in the lens zoom, which it doesn't look like you've got!

Hi James,

Its just an el cheapo 850nm filter. Thats whats good with the 850nm, it produces more contrast and foliage will turn into white. The drawback is it exposes much longer like twice as long as the 720s. I took that photo just last sunday around 3pm. Yup you are right. Some lens produces hotspots.

Even without the filter I think this is a great shot .

But with it it takes it up to the next level , has a real serial feel to it .

One I would love in my gallery .

Now very interested to know where you got your 850nm filter - may have to get some different ones to play with after seeing this!!
