Your Mission & DC MAG's lack of info & responses

As everyone I find it frustration and huge waste of time trying to find info about latest your mission and submission guidelines.

CAN'T SOMEONE FROM DC MAG put these info a seperate thread neatly explaining? I have spend hours to read some info about emailing to so on so id etc, but then again from past mission threads. If there are delay in making that page available, then DC mag people should respond to threads atleast (Seasonal Colour).

Guys from DC mag, can you pls provide what we all need to do about this month you mission like

Mission =
End date =
email to = ....
max / min file size = ... MB
max length or width on highest side = ....px
Max number of entries per person =

Pls pls... dont waste everyone's time every month. thanks for responding (if you do in time)

Hi Karlmarx, and all other Digital Camera readers who have expressed their frustration about the Your Mission details on the PhotoRadar forum.

I have just started as operations editor on the magazine, so have done my best to catch up on your complaints and will do my best to sort this out. The last thing we want to do is waste your time. If anything, the forum should make the process easier.

Here's what I suggest (and Karlmarx's ideas above make perfect sense to me).

Each month's mission will have its own thread – they will no longer be bundled into one.

So, click on the Digital Camera thread and you should see the current mission – ie, 'Issue 92's Mission: Seasonal Colour'. Within this thread we will provide all the details you need:

- The mission
- The closing date
- Where to send your entries to (and how)
- The max file size in Mb (which is 2Mb)

If there is any overlap, you may see more than one mission, but as the closing dates pass we will delete the threads. If your image is chosen to appear in the magazine, we will contact you for a high-res file.

I hope that this will eliminate confusion, but if you have any further suggestions please let me know. I will make these changes as soon as I can.

Thnaks Sophie. But sadly I am unable to locate that link. Pls can you post the link here?

Btw, I have already emailed my submission based on previous mission thread info, though not sure that meet the requirement.
