Thanks Mark, always nice to know you liked my photo, you being the master, *bows*..lol. Gives me a boost. Thanks to donoreo, Drew Smith, kezpock and nick_gray. Your votes were much appreciated. It was also nice to get critique and Pea24 saw exactly what I wanted to achieve, in my picture. Took me ages and many takes to getthatblue square to look right! I was totally stuck for ideas and it was during a game of 'crossword' (it's from the 1970's and involves dice with letters on and you have to make a crossword in the time it takes for the egg timer to empty, lol) when the idea came to me.

UPS - TwinnieE - Fitted the brief perfectly, a very explosive, chaotic mix of colours and patterns.

DOWNS - Pea24 - Again, fitted the brief but think if the blocks had been closer and more compact with a closer crop, it would have given more impact.

Maybe we should all start to share where we got our ideas from?

Congrats to kezpock!

Up
Jimmyosram's 'Pattern In Chaos' - I loved the photo especially that foreground rock, but felt it didnt quite fit the theme. Really good shot though.

Down
Cutter's 'Where's My Dinner?' - wow, that's a great shot. It was a close second for me. Perfect for the theme, totally chaotic and superb clarity.

My vote went to dazler21's 'chaotic fluid'. I loved the subject, the choice of colours and the fact that it also related to the scientific definition of chaos 'the state believed to have existed before the universe gained order'. My other favourties were DD's 'Chaos' and pea24's 'Order from Chaos'.

My entry was a bw conversion of curtain tiebacks!! I had taken my curtains down to wash and the tiebacks were just sitting on my table in a pile. That's when the idea came to me Thank you so much to dazler21, GUY1970 and pea24 for voting for me.

No real surprise to be one of the nillies, my image wasn't exactly chaotic but was basically entered as it was taken within the time frame and I need to get back into entering the competition!

I voted for kezpock's chaos choosing shoes - an image I can relate to! Beautifully shot and extra kudos for the self portrait.

Anyway my ups and downs.

UP

Where's my dinner!!! Cannot see anything wrong with this at all, fitted the theme beautifully, the focus is superb would have got my vote but I'm a female and it was up against shoes!

DOWN

Bows I hope you will forgive my lack of experience here but I am finding this one hard to critique. It didn't really appeal to me as much as some of the others but I can't really put my finger on why. Somehow it didn't feel chaotic enough.

Others I liked were DD's Chaos and Twinnie's Chaotic Cycle.
