The weekly DCM comp

Hi BeauxReflets, the rules are simple and can change slightly depending on the person setting the comp. Basically the subject is set by the person that won last weeks comp, the image has to be taken on Saturday or Sunday in your time zone. Limits may, or may not be put on the post processing levels. The person setting the challenge then sets up the Poll on Monday AM, voting normally starts at Monday PM and finishes Wed 12:00, the winner then sets the challenge for the coming weekend and round we go again .

On the old site the winner would amend their signature to " The best Photographer in the world W\E xyz" as a badge of honor.

On the issue of rules, H Evans was a mod & the chap in the know at DCM. Don't know if he lurks about here now but he is on Flickr. Don't know if he's memorised the old rules though! Unless PR's posting / poll setup is the same as the old site then the rules would need to be ammended anyway. I suppose new ones could be posted at some point once it gets going again. There used to be a winners thread too but whether this is necessary I don't know.

Just to remind those who are chmping at the bit to take part, there's still time to enter over at Flickr (also free to join as PR is) and / or vote in this week's competition. Topic is 'Two Views'.
