Indian summer sunset

What a spectcular day today, for late September in England. Escaped work early as not well, but also to pick up my camera and head off out. I'm going to go take some silhouette sculpture shots with the sunset (im expecting it to be perfect tonigh, but a few clouds might make it even better) behind, of some lovely sculptures in Consett, County Durham. If anyone knows of them, they are great to capture. Terris Novalis (or something lol) they are called.G o google them, amazing works of art.

Cloudless here too but I'm still heading down to Carew Castle tonight. Really high tide expected too but as you say, a few clouds would not go amiss.

A lovely day with blue skys but the only snag...all the Swifts, Swallows and House Martins have gone! Why couldn't we have some of this in May, June, July and August!

Great Autumn colours around so woods should be you first choice.

Sunset was rubbish and to top it all I opened my bag to get some long exposure shots of the castle over the mill pond and found that my Big Stopper was snapped in half.

Thanks Dan. Can't afford to go on the waiting list at the moment. I will have to set my sights a little bit lower and use the 85mm Hi Tech that I have on a longer focal length lens for now.
