Porsche in B&W 2

Thanks for the comments on my original post for the Porsche in Black and White. To try and improve it I have chosen another of my photos from that session with a little more movement in it. This photo was taken at 1/60 of a sec at F14 ISO 100. To answer Forsetti's question of what has been done to it, it was loaded in to CS2 & converted to mono using the Chanel mixer, solarised and then posterised. Levels and Curves were also tweaked. I look forward to your further comments!

That's it, no more, I've lost the will to live, I can't get the bl***y picture to appear, even after following the clear instructions offered by Forsetti, good bye cruel world its off the roof on to the iron railings head first for me!!! Well, maybe not, I'd probably break the railings!

Easy. Clicked on the plus sign above the image in your gallery to make it full size, right-clicked on image > 'Copy', returned to this thread to post this, wrote the text and then Edit > Copy. Job done. Probably all in vain though if in the meantime you've jumped off the roof.

Many thanks for your help once again! There must be something set amiss in my browser because all
I get is the square with the red cross shown above. Massively disappointing not to mention frustrating!

I wonder if this could be the cause of your problem? You first need to be signed in to do this and then for some reason known only to the powers that be, actually read a thread (this one for example) otherwise the following option won't be available. Why the following dialogue doesn't appear on the front page of the forum defies belief but anyway.......

Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you'll find a menu called 'Forum Jump'. Scroll through the drop down menu until you get to 'User Control Panel'. Once this is open scroll down until you see 'Thread Display Options'. Have you got checked 'Show Images (including attached images and images in etc etc)? If not, place a check mark next to it and save these settings. By the way, you'll also find other settings and menu's to adjust to your liking under User Control Panel menu i.e. receiving emai notifications etc etc.

Like I said, 'Forum Jump' doesn't become visible and therefore usable until you actually read a post. Maybe someone at Admin would like to explain why this has been set up in this way as it seems to be the most illogical place that one would search for such a thing. Top right of the Forum page where it says 'Change my account settings' would seem to be the logical place woudn't you agree?

If you liked the B&W version, what do you think of the colour version?
