Like others here I've taken the plunge and ordered myself a remote timer for my Nikon, I got mine from - http://www.linkdelight.com/index.php

Looking forward to trying it out, all I need now is a suitable subject/location.

Also I might try using Adobe Premiere Elements to put it together
