What I've been doing 'cos it's raining.

As some of you know I dabble in music (keyboards and guitar and now mandolin). So I knocked out this rough version of Copperhead Road by Steve Earle in my garage tonight. Thought I'd give you a laugh.

Jeez Jimmy, is that you multi-tracking all instruments and lyrics?

Steve Earle has come a long way from his early folk rock days. I like all his stuff, but especially the later incarnation of Steve Earle's new love affair with his now adopted city of New York and the album Washington Square Serenade. He hosts a slot on a satelite radio station in New York which he genuinely seems to love.

Your talents know no bounds, and no mention of a lighthouse too!

Thanks everybody. Yeah, that's just me using various synths a guitar and a Mandolin that I taught myself to play a couple of days ago.

Steve Earle is coming to my neck of the woods in a few weeks (on at the Sage in Gateshead). Might go and see him.
