Thats my downfall,no decent PC (only have a netbook) and no photoshop. Hope Christmas will change that!

Chris - what (software) did you use to edit out the twig?

I use pixlr but struggle because of the tint screen and the rubbish resolution. Will give it another go and post it up again.

Here it is with the twig cloned out.

Next time I take something like this, I might use my newly practices stacking, to try toget the whole photo pin sharp.

All things being equal it's better to shoot in colour then convert to B&W as there is a greater tonal range to work with.

I agree and have never yet shot in B&W. I would love to shoot in RAW but no software to support this. I can't even upload (or is that download, I never remember???) the disk that came with the camera, not having a disk drive. I was given a link in a previous thread to download it but sadly, it was an update and was of no use.

I have been saving avidly for a PC/'real laptop' and for photoshop but my son's engagement and wedding, planned for next year seems to have put pay to that idea. Was hoping christmas might bring me something of that ilk but both me and hubby will now only be exchanging token gifts this year, due to the wedding fund! Never mind, each time I take a picture, I learn and once I do have the required equipment, I can re-visit favourite shots and do the PP then.
