making my own softbox

hi as im pretty skint im trying to make my own softbox for my flashgun. does anyone know where i can get translucent material for the front?

Should be as good as anything for light (no pun intended) usage.

@ fatboyslim - good on you taking the diy approach. Maybe you should start another thread in the General Equipment section when you have completed it, showing what you have done and telling how you did it and inviting other people to share their diy photography gadgets.

Good idea. I'll draw up some plans for a macro infinity background I made a few years ago and stick them up.

I did this with my home made light box. Gives a moonlight like glow.
