I don't know about wireless triggering as I never use it. But the IR works a treat on the Yongnuo. In fact, something as cheap as this just shouldn't work as well as it does!

Just an added note of caution to the Canon types out there. Check the trigger voltage of any flash you intend to buy. Canon (and many other brands) have a very low trigger voltage and some of the cheap/older flashguns can fry the electronics. Nikon use a big steel girder that comes crashing down on a bit of left-over railway line and can cope with massive trigger voltages.
