I'd hazard a guess as to them not caring much.

Beggers belief realy.
What amazed me, thinking about it, was they asked for my browser and operating system details when I'd reported the rendering issues. I also commented as to a previous post detailing such problems seeming to have gone missing. In the missing thread, I'd already stated exactly what my setup was.

Now, if they'd have spent a few seconds viewing the thread that I'd lost (and had listed my setup in), all the information they required was in there... hence my reluctance to keep reminding them as to what setup I'm using.

They did nothing, apart from say "It works for us", when the site rendering issues were first reported. Information was given to the development "team", in exchange for little feedback... certainly none shown in the one-and-only bug squashing report.

I can see a reply of "We don't have time to view all threads" coming this way from the mods... so I'll add "I don't have time to repeat myself". I'll also add, "It seems my time (and others reporting the same problem) was wasted, regarding the site rendering issue".

Well said Boltondave, I posted a screen shot twice with a dirty black line down each side using FF and having to scroll half way down the page before getting to the text but no responce. True it might be my setup but very rarely do I get problems with any other forums or web sites and certainly dont lose nearly half of my screen. So I think I will wait a couple of months before trying again to see if its sorted. Oh works ok in ie8.

Well I have tried to get to know this site - even if not love it but I am afraid that visits have usually been disappointing. No sense of community, little value in posting pictures for critique/ comment as no-one looks it seems, little response - see thread re: Your Mission after Ben did his best to confuse everyone.
In short nothing here to keep me so I am likely to be an even more infrequent visitor than ever. Well done DC mag and PR - lost me as a subscriber/user on both counts now. RIP DC Mag site - learned so much there from others despite all of it`s failings.

There are sooooo many FREE and EXCELLENT podcasts available on itunes (literally dozens and many updated daily), I have stopped bothering with the free tutorial discs given with magazines. In fact if I'm honest.... I hate to say that I haven't even bought a magazine for about three months and I used to subscribe to a few, but they all have the same articles... all the podcasts are unique.
Sorry about that magazine people!
Simon.
